10/23/2018 Cool & Associates, Inc. participates in the 3rd annual 2018 Oakland County Business Roundtable Workforce Development and Education Committee meeting. The meeting included discussions on developing Career Readiness for High School and Community College Students. Six proposed recommendations including internships, apprenticeships and career awareness were discussed for submittal to the Oakland County Executive Officer. The meeting concluded with Staff and Member Updates.
07/24/2018 Cool & Associates, Inc. participates in the 2nd annual 2018 Oakland County Business Roundtable Workforce Development and Education Committee meeting. The meeting included a Future of Work presentation for Business and Education Communities of Oakland County, Michigan. The presentation included the Growth of Drone Technology. The meeting concluded with Staff and Member Updates.
05/12/2018 Joseph Cool, President of Cool & Associates, Inc. received a Happy 58th Anniversary message from the National Eagle Scout Association. Cool was awarded the Eagle Rank on 12 May 1960at the age of 14 years and was cited in The Pontiac Press as one of the youngest boys to receive the rank in Michigan. WOW!! What a remembrance to Troop 20 located at McConnell Elementary School on Paddock Street in Pontiac Michigan.
04/24/2018 Cool & Associates, Inc. invited to participate in the 2018 Oakland County Business Roundtable as a member of the Workforce Development and Education Committee. The first meeting was held on 2 May 2018 and included Remarks from the Oakland County Deputy Executive and Kelly Services Vice President. The meeting concluded with a presentation on MiCareerQuest Southeast.

10/10/2017 Cool & Associates, Inc. participates in the 3rd 2017 Oakland County Business Roundtable meeting as a member of the Workforce Development and Education Committee. The meeting focused on several improvements in the Regional Transport Authority, Emerging Sectors, Tech 248 and Oakland Next. A detailed presentation was provided regarding Manufacturing Day and Apprenticeship Training for High School Students in Oakland County. 2017 Member Surveys were also discussed.
18/07/2017 Cool & Associates, Inc. to attend the 2017 Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social to be held on Saturday, 29 July 2017 at the Pine Grove Historical Museum located in Pontiac, Michigan. The Ice Cream Social is sponsored by the Oakland County Pioneer and Historical Society (www.ocphs.org). Cool is proud to attend as he was born and raised in the City of Pontiac and vividly remembers the Wisner site during Football Games while attending Pontiac Central High School in the early 1960s. 13/06/2017 Cool & Associates, Inc. participates in the 2nd 2017 Oakland County Business Roundtable Workforce Development and Education Committee meeting. The meeting focused on The Role of Internships in the Education and Commercial Business Communities of Oakland County, Michigan through a Panel Discussion. A Panel of 5 distinguished Educators responded to specific prepared questions including response to Committee member questions.
4/04/2017 Joseph P. Cool renews membership in the National Eagle Scout Association (www.nesa.org). Cool received the Eagle Scout award in May, 1960 at the age of 14 years. He was recorded in the "then" Pontiac Press as one of the youngest Eagle Scouts in the State of Michigan. "The knowledge I learned in the Boy Scouts assisted me greatly in my success throughout the global marketplace including 55 countries during my career", said Cool. 2/22/2017 Cool & Associates, Inc. invited to participate in the 2017 Oakland County Business Roundtable as a member of the Workforce Development and Education Committee. The first meeting was held on 21 Feb 2017 beginning with a presentation of Oakland County Economic Development Initiatives by the Deputy County Executive. Member discussions included the creation of the next Oakland County business environment, connected mobility and Skilled Trade Assessments.
